How is this different from a regular pedicure?
A regular pedicure is about how the feet look. A podo pedicure is about foot health: worked dry so every concern stays visible, with sterilized instruments, in a private room.
Podo Dry, Podo Dry Medical or with Pedique®?
Podo Dry is the core treatment, worked without water, with gel polish included. Podo Dry Medical is the same dry method for thickened nails, deep callus or diabetic feet. Podo Dry with Pedique® adds reconstruction of a damaged or missing toenail.
Is it painful?
Most clients feel little discomfort. Tell us if anything feels tender and we adjust.
I have diabetes. Is it safe?
Yes, this is what Podo Dry Medical is for. There is no soaking, and every instrument is sterilized and sealed. If you have an open sore or infection, see your doctor first.
How often should I come in?
Every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your feet. We suggest a schedule at your visit.
Can I have polish?
Podo Dry includes gel polish. On Podo Dry Medical, nails are left bare to breathe and heal; gel colour can be added for $50 if your nails are suited.
