What it is

Microneedling, done precisely. Your skin rebuilds the rest.

The Dp4™ is a motorised pen with a cartridge of very fine needles. It makes thousands of tiny, controlled punctures to a depth your provider sets, and your skin repairs each one with new collagen.

Over a series, that smooths texture, refines pores, softens fine lines and raises the base of acne scars. There is no heat, so recovery is short and it suits most skin tones.

The technology

The Dp4™ from DermapenWorld uses a sterile, single-use cartridge of 16 fine needles that move straight up and down as the pen glides across the skin.

That makes clean vertical punctures rather than the dragging a roller can cause. Depth is set per area: shallow around the eyes, deeper over scars.

How much does microneedling cost in Edmonton?

Dp4™ microneedling is $415 for the face, $595 for face and neck, and $845 for face, neck and décolleté. A package of 4 saves 15%.

02Dp4™ at its core

Does microneedling help acne scars?

Yes. Rolling and shallow scars soften as new collagen fills them from underneath, usually over four to six sessions. Deep ice-pick scars may need Sylfirm X® or a laser, and we will be honest about which of your scars will improve.

Microneedling or RF microneedling?

Dp4™ uses needles alone: gentler, lower cost, and enough for texture, pores, fine lines and mild scars. Sylfirm X® adds radiofrequency, which also tightens and treats melasma and redness.

Is Dp4™ safe for darker skin tones?

Because there is no heat or light, microneedling carries less pigment risk than many treatments and suits most skin tones. We confirm at consultation.

03The day of and recovery

How much downtime is there?

Skin looks sunburnt for one to three days, depending on depth. Makeup can usually go on the next day. Many clients book on a Friday and are back to normal by Monday.

04For best results

How many sessions will I need?

Usually three to six, four to six weeks apart. Texture and glow need fewer; scars need more. Then maintenance every few months.

Can Dp4™ be combined with PRP or skin boosters?

Yes. Pairing Dp4™ with PRP or a Redensity Beauty Booster delivers them into freshly opened channels in the same visit, for more glow and skin quality.
