What it is

Fewer hairs, every session. Finer and lighter as they go.

A pulse of laser light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and travels down to the root, where the heat disables the follicle. Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only catches hairs that are actively growing, so results build over a series.

The honest word is reduction, not removal: long-lasting reduction after a series, with occasional top-up sessions for any regrowth.

The technology

Two lasers, two wavelengths. Cooled with every pulse.

We run two dual-wavelength lasers, the Lutronic Clarity II and the Cynosure Elite iQ. Each carries Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm.

The Elite iQ measures your skin type with its Skintel® reader. The Clarity II adds IntelliTrak™ for even coverage, a 1 ms pulse for very fine hair, and cryogen cooling with no gels. Both cool the skin with every pulse.

02Laser Hair Removal at its core

Does it work on dark skin?

Yes. We use the Nd:YAG 1064 nm for deeper skin tones, which passes through surface pigment and delivers its heat to the hair root.

Can laser help razor bumps?

Yes. The Nd:YAG 1064 nm treats razor bumps and ingrown hairs on the beard, neck and bikini, which is why many men start with the neck.

Does it work on blonde, red or grey hair?

No. The laser needs pigment in the hair. For light, red or grey hair, waxing is the better choice.

Does it hurt?

Each pulse feels like a quick snap of an elastic band with a flash of warmth. Cooling takes most of the sting.

04For best results

How many sessions will I need?

Most people need a series, four to eight weeks apart. Your provider sets your plan at consultation. Hormonal areas like the chin often need more.

Is laser hair removal permanent?

It is long-lasting reduction. After a series, very little hair grows back, and what does is finer and lighter.
